Dynazty | MINI-RETROSPECTIVE

Dynazty is a Power Metal band from Stockholm, Sweden in 2007. They were soon joined by the powerful voice talents of Nils Molin in 2008. The entire band consists of lead vocals: Nils Molin, Guitarist: Love Magnusson, Guitarist: Mikael Lavér, Bassist: Jonathan Olsson; and last but by no means least drummer: Georg Härsten Egg. To listen to their earlier albums, they come off like melodic hard rock, and I have to say though they were truly good, as the years went on, they definitely became more intense, and I mean that in no way, shape, or form in a bad way. With each and every song they perform, every bit of emotion is emitted in every song. Every song is presented with powerhouse vocals and amazingly played music, that leaves the listener wanting to hear even more. Definitely a group I listen to when I am writing my novel as the power vocals and just as great music truly opens doors to the imagination, igniting a creative spark!

Every album will have a favorite for listeners, however some albums like Renatus (for me)
there aren’t any favorites because every song is just as good as the next. With that being said, there are some songs in other albums that I absolutely love and will repeat a few times. One such song is from the album Titanic Mass entitled The Human Paradox. With this song, between the strong vocals of Nils as well as the tone the music gives makes me dance in my seat because of the energy within the song. I do have to say that this is a song that I will repeat quite a few times. Another song on this album that I have to say is one of my favorites to listen to is The Smoking Gun. Now there are two versions of this song on the album, and I just have to say that both are absolutely beautiful to listen to. The melodic tone of the song truly makes me sit back and truly think.

Like with many more songs such as Power of Will, Prescence of Mind, Waterfall, The Grey and so many more of Dynazty’s incredible pieces, this listener absolutely loves every single song. I can honestly say when I listen to their albums, I never skip a single song, every one of them are just amazing. Now the last thing that I do want to address is their music videos, if I may. One thing that I love that you really don’t see too often is that in every video the “spotlight” isn’t just on the lead vocalist, it does in fact show everyone, and that is really good seeing how the entire group isn’t reliant on just one person but every single one of them brings an energy to the band that makes it as amazing a band as it is today.
